You know getting visits at Go Cary from Jill Booth, make me so happy. They are just
delightful. Monday's visit was extra special because she asked me to go on an adventure with her. If you know Jill, that could mean a lot of things. This adventure was destined to be fun because we were traveling to an old
Cotton Mill to see a loft apartment.
This place was absolutely AHHHHHHmazing. Our tour guide was a 90 year old little Bostonian and her pooch. Both were as cute as a "bugs ear."
The space itself had cool feature, after cool feature. So much character in one tiny little place. It is damn near impossible to find that kind of charm and character in homes today.
Take a peek at the features I loved the most:
This ceiling....
This iron and wood - From the 1800s...imported from England.
This exposed pillar in the master bathroom.
[makes a perfect "T" for
Alpha Mama Art]
Windows from the original cotton mill, turned mirrors!
These exposed pillars in the kitchen.
Curved stairs.
This exposed brick and that darling little heart iron work!!!
Seeing places like this, reminds me, it's the little things that make the biggest difference.
